Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 May 2026

1. Introduction

Spectrum Networks (“Spectrum”, “we”, “us”) provides IT skilling and professional services across the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect about training participants, how we use it, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it.

This policy applies to our learning platform, our public course schedules, and our in-house programmes. By using our services you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

If you are a training participant, your employer (or other third party paying for training) supplies us with your business contact information — such as name, email, and job role.

Some employers may also provide additional identifying information such as an employee ID number. We do not request sensitive personal information (such as data relating to health, race, religion, political opinions, or biometrics) and we do not knowingly process it as part of the Service.

When you self-register on our learning platform, we collect the email address and name you provide directly, plus a one-time verification code (OTP) sent to that email for sign-in purposes.

As you use the platform we also record activity-related information necessary to deliver the service: course enrolments, attendance marks, assessment attempts and scores, certificates earned, and timestamps of meaningful actions.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Enrol you in courses and sessions your sponsor has paid for;
  • Authenticate you when you sign in;
  • Deliver training content, assessments, and certificates;
  • Communicate session schedules, reminders, and platform notifications;
  • Generate progress and completion reports for your sponsoring employer (where applicable);
  • Maintain the security, integrity, and performance of our services;
  • Comply with our legal and contractual obligations.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We share information only as needed to deliver our services:

  • With your sponsoring employer or programme operator — enrolment, attendance, and completion data for the courses they sponsor.
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Spectrum Networks, our customers, or others.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

5. Cookies & Tracking

Our learning platform uses session cookies to keep you signed in, and local storage to remember your interface preferences (such as the theme you select). We do not deploy third-party advertising cookies on the platform. Any analytics cookies we use are configured, where practicable, to record usage patterns in an aggregated form that supports service performance and improvement.

6. Data Security

We use technical and administrative security measures designed to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, and alteration of personal information.

Among the safeguards we employ are firewalls and data encryption, physical access controls at our data centres, and information access authorisation controls.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. While we use commercially reasonable safeguards, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information, and you provide it to us at your own risk.

7. Your Rights

Depending on the laws of your country, you may have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • Ask us to correct or update inaccurate information;
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer need to retain;
  • Object to specific uses or withdraw a consent you previously gave.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in section 11 below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. Data Retention

We keep your personal information only as long as we need it to provide the training service to you and your sponsor, to issue certificates, and to meet our legal, accounting, or audit obligations. After that, we either delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.

9. International Transfers

Spectrum Networks operates from Dubai (Middle East HQ), Mumbai (Asia Pacific HQ), Riyadh, Istanbul, Tunis, and Singapore. Information you provide may be processed in any of these locations. Where personal information moves across borders we use appropriate safeguards in line with applicable data protection laws.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active users through the learning platform or by email. You are encouraged to review this page periodically to stay informed of any updates.

Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 May 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Spectrum Networks learning platform and any related courses, content, certifications, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an employer or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Account & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and keep that information up to date.

We may decline registration, restrict access, or close an account at our discretion if information is incomplete, misleading, or used in breach of these Terms.

3. Account Security & Single-User Rule

Your account is personal to you. You may not:

  • Share your credentials, OTP codes, or session with any other person;
  • Allow another person to attend a session, sit an assessment, or progress through course content on your behalf;
  • Operate more than one account to circumvent enrolment limits, capacity caps, or assessment-attempt limits;
  • Transfer your account, certificates, or progress to anyone else.

You are responsible for activity that occurs on your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us promptly at info@specnt.com. We reserve the right, in our reasonable discretion, to investigate and where appropriate suspend accounts showing patterns consistent with credential sharing — such as concurrent sessions from unrelated locations.

4. Granted Access

Subject to your (or your sponsoring employer’s) payment of applicable fees and your compliance with these Terms, Spectrum grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access the Service and the content within it for your own learning during the period of your enrolment.

This grant terminates automatically when your enrolment ends, when your account is closed, or when this Service or a specific item within it is retired.

5. Content Ownership

All course materials, assessments, videos, recordings, slides, exercises, labs, software configurations, brand marks, and the platform itself remain the property of Spectrum Networks or its licensors (including certification authorities such as Microsoft, AWS, Red Hat, Google, and others).

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any content to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

6. Restrictions on Use

Except as these Terms expressly allow, and except to the extent any of the following restrictions are prohibited by applicable mandatory law, you agree not to:

  • Copy, download, or save course videos, slide decks, lab guides, assessment questions, or other content outside of the on-platform experience — including via screen capture, browser extensions, or automated scrapers;
  • Reuse or redistribute any content in your own courses, presentations, books, blog posts, training-of-trainer programmes, or commercial offerings;
  • Modify, adapt, translate, decompile, or reverse-engineer any course content or platform code, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
  • Remove or obscure copyright, trademark, watermark, or other ownership notices;
  • Use the Service to build, train, or evaluate any competing learning platform, content library, or assessment bank;
  • Access the Service through automated means, bots, or scripts, except as we may expressly authorise in writing;
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, breach security or authentication, or interfere with its normal operation.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the restrictions above apply equally when using AI tools, large language models, or similar systems — you agree not to use Spectrum content to ingest into, embed within, or fine-tune such systems without our prior written consent.

7. Assessments & Certifications

Assessments delivered through the Service must be completed by you personally, without unauthorised aids. Specifically:

  • You may not use a substitute test-taker, a second device, or another person in the room to assist;
  • You may not consult external materials, generative AI, or shared question banks during a timed assessment unless explicitly permitted by the assessment’s rules;
  • You may not photograph, transcribe, or otherwise reproduce assessment questions for distribution.

Certificates issued through the Service are personal to you and confirm that you met the assessment’s pass criteria at the time of issuance. We reserve the right, in our reasonable discretion, to suspend, withdraw, or annotate a certificate if we subsequently identify a material breach of these Terms in connection with that assessment.

8. Recording, Screenshots & AI

Live sessions (VILT, classroom, hybrid) are confidential to the enrolled cohort. You may not record audio or video of any live session, take screenshots of the slide content, or share session join links with anyone who is not enrolled.

Where Spectrum or the instructor publishes an official recording, that recording is shared with you for your personal review only and is subject to the same restrictions as on-platform content.

9. Your Submissions

When you submit feedback, assessment responses, lab outputs, or any other content to the Service, you grant Spectrum a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that content for the purposes of operating and improving the Service, including for moderation, grading, and aggregated reporting to your sponsoring employer.

You retain ownership of your submissions. You confirm that anything you submit is yours to share and does not infringe a third party’s rights.

10. Third-Party Vendors

Some courses, exams, and certifications are delivered in partnership with third-party technology vendors. Your use of those items is also subject to the vendor’s own terms, code of conduct, and certification rules. Where they conflict with these Terms, the more restrictive rule applies.

11. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, third-party outages, force majeure events, and security incidents may disrupt the Service from time to time.

12. Suspension & Termination

Subject to applicable law, we may suspend or terminate your access (with or without prior notice, as we reasonably determine appropriate to the circumstances) where we believe in good faith that you have breached these Terms, attempted to circumvent our security or licensing controls, abused another learner or staff member, or put the integrity of an assessment or certification at risk.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections 5, 6, 9, 13, 14, and 15 (and any other provisions which by their nature are intended to survive) remain in effect after termination.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spectrum disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or trade usage.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Spectrum, its affiliates, and its licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for direct damages is, to the extent permitted by law, capped at the amount paid by you (or your sponsor on your behalf) for the specific service that gave rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including, where applicable, liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and any other liability that local law treats as non-excludable.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

Where you are a consumer and the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of habitual residence apply, nothing in this section deprives you of the benefit of those protections, and you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your home country.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the learning platform or directly by email to active users. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
